If You’re Struggling To Manage Your Mental Health, Then You’re Not Alone
According to the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, Major depressive disorder affects approximately 17.3 million American adults, or about 7.1% of the U.S. population age 18 and older, in a given year.
It was four years ago today that I was first diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder and Anxiety. I had no idea what this would mean for the future, but I did know one thing.
I NEEDED TO CHANGE MY CURRENT LIFESTYLE TO BETTER MY MENTAL HEALTH
At the time, I didn’t understand what that meant. I didn’t know about self-care or self-love or even understand the severity of mental health illnesses. This resulted in a downward spiral in which I made many bad decisions that were not beneficial to my overall health.
Now, in my defense, I thought I was making the right decisions. That was until I was given a depression workbook from my therapist. This workbook changed my life in so many ways, so I thought, why don’t I make a workbook tailored towards this.
That is how this Depression Management PDF Workbook was born.
