17 Best Answers To Your Twitter Questions: Birthday Edition
I asked the blogging community to submit questions for my birthday edition post. Here are my answers to your questions!

My 25th birthday is this Sunday, and I’m looking forward to it. My last birthday felt like a drag because it was during the Coronavirus pandemic. But, now that everything is opening back up, I’m looking forward to some free food, free drinks, and having a bit of fun this weekend.
Today, I’m responding to some questions my Twitter followers left for me. In honor of my 25th birthday, I’m answering the questions you guys asked on Twitter. So, with that said, here are my answers!
17Answers To Your Twitter Questions
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
This is a great question. In 5 years, I see myself living in a new apartment with my partner and starting my career as a wellness and life coach. So in a way, I’m manifesting this into existence because I am working towards these goals every day.
What is your favorite dog type? Do you have it now?
OKAY, THIS IS A HARD ONE. I love all dogs, but if I have to pick my favorite dog breeds, I guess they would be:
- Pitbull
- Corgi
- Golden Retriever
Growing up, I lived with a gorgeous American Bully Pitbull mix named Lilo. She still lives with my parents, and I see and play with her whenever I visit them. Currently, I do not own a pet of my own, but as soon as we get an apartment, we plan to get a puppy from the shelter.
What has been your favorite age so far?
My favorite age so far is 10. I miss being old enough to go on rollercoasters but young enough to get free meals and not worry about the bills. Those were the good times.
What’s the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
The best advice I have ever received was from my high school English teacher, Ms. Wong. She told me that although I don’t believe in God, I must remember that someone is always watching me and secretly guiding me on the right path. I like to think that my ancestors and previous loved ones are watching over my every move and giving me clues about the next step I should take.
What’s one piece of advice you use daily/weekly?
- Daily: Always keep your head held high, but don’t force yourself not to be vulnerable if you need to be.
- Weekly: Always pick a day for decluttering and mass cleaning.
What would be your ideal way to spend your 25th birthday?
Ideally, I would love to spend my birthday traveling and exploring a new city. For example, I would have loved to have gone to Las Vegas, Nevada, or on a country road trip where I explored multiple destinations across several days. I’d also love to go out and eat at a new restaurant.
What are your most proud achievements to date?
My proudest achievement is that I graduated with both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees before 24. Although this may not seem like much to some, it’s a massive deal to me.
How different or similar is the present time than you had expected five years ago?
Honestly, I feel like nothing has changed politically or socially. The world is still pretty much in crap and dying. However, I will say that I’ve personally grown and changed for the better over the last five years and am not the same person as I was before.
How do you feel about turning 25 soon?
I’m both excited and nervous to be turning 25 soon. Having another birthday means that I survived another year of life which I am grateful for. But, it also means that I am one year closer to being 30, which terrifies me.
What are some important life lessons you have learned up to this point in your life?
Ironically, when I turned 24, I wrote a post about 24 important lessons I learned over the last 24 years. But, now that I’m turning 25, I feel like there are a few more lessons to add to that list. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that it’s okay not to know where you’re going. There is no one path you have to take, and you’re not in a race to make tremendous accomplishments.
What would you like to do on your birthday that you never did before?
Travel outside of the United States.
What are your aims for the next five years?
My aims for the next five years are to get my license, get my dream apartment, start my life coaching career, enjoy life more, and travel.
What is the best birthday you have received?
I assume this was supposed to say, “What is the best birthday gift you have received?” but I am unsure. So, I’m going to answer both. The best birthday gift I have ever received has got to be the One Direction tickets my parents got me during my senior year of high school. I got to see my boys perform at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey during their last tour together as a group. I will never forget that experience.
My best birthday was when my boyfriend and some close friends took me to a food festival in Times Square. I had a great time and enjoyed all of the food.
What was your view of 25 years old when you were still a teen?
When I was a teenager, I thought 25-year-olds were fantastic because they were in college, could party, and didn’t have parents to say no to them. Now, I realize just how untrue any of that is.
Do you have a bucket list?
I do! I have a travel bucket list filled with 30 countries that I want to visit before I become too old to travel or die. I bought mine for cheap on Etsy (BTW, this is not an affiliate link).
What’s One Thing You’ve Done That You’re Incredibly Proud Of?
I’m most proud of myself for standing up to toxic family members and putting myself first. There was a time when I felt like I couldn’t do this, and I finally learned how to do this.
What are 25 things you hope to achieve by your next birthday?
I hope to have my license, be married, start my life coaching certification, hit 2K Instagram followers, make $10K monthly, start a business, get my LLC, get Riyah Speaks trademarked, become a mental health coach, help my boyfriend get back into college, learn how to balance work, gain three new technical skills, learn how to make barista drinks, travel outside of the United States once, save up to 10K, gain two more streams of passive income, start growing my garden, to grow my affiliate marketing business, buy a car, get a condo, improve my overall health, improve my mentality, become a yogi, read ten books, start writing a book.

I really enjoyed reading your replies. It feels like I know you a bit better ☺️
Thanks so much!
It was so cool to read your answers — especially that you love dogs (me too) and that corgis and goldens are in your top three. I am obsessed with corgi dogs and golden retrievers (but pretty much adore all types)! Thanks for sharing a bit more about you — and Happy 25th!
My partner is obsessed with corgis and pugs. I swear I’m going to be a dog mom of like 8 dogs haha. Thanks for the wishes!
Happy birthday 🎉 I hope you had a great day. By the time you’d graduated from both your undergraduate degree and post graduate degree, I’d only just started my degree. I didn’t know what I wanted to do while at school, so I skipped university until I was 25
Thanks for the bday wishes! There is no better time to go to university, good luck with your studies.
Happy early birthday! You had some really great questions sent in. Going to see 1D sounds like such an incredible experience, and I love all of your goals for the next year too! Thank you so much for sharing, hope you have an amazing day x
Thanks for reading. Seeing 1D was the best experience of my life, I miss them sooo much as a band.
