Reflecting on 25 years of life’s wonders, this list of 95 blessings showcases the abundance of gratitude as I embrace a new chapter.
Bring out the drums and blow out the candles because today is the day. Today marks 25 years since I was born, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m so grateful for making it to 25 and many other things, too, so I am sharing 95 things; I’m thankful for coming on my 25th birthday.
Being 25 feels so weird. While I’m happy that I am hitting this yearly milestone, I’m also sad because I feel like I’m not where I am supposed to be in life (does anyone in my age group feel like this?). I shouldn’t feel like this, but I cannot help it. So, this is why I am taking the time to do a small mindfulness practice by writing out everything I’m grateful for now that I’ve officially turned 25.

How To Make A Gratitude List
The above gratitude list is smaller than I wrote for my 24th birthday, but that’s okay. Making a gratitude list doesn’t have to be complicated or challenging. If you’re interested in creating your version, all you have to do is grab a notebook and start by thinking about at least five things you’re grateful for. Last year, I wrote a list of 100+ things I was grateful for, and this year, I wrote 95.
You could also try making a gratitude list based on the alphabet, an A-Z gratitude list, or starting your journal practice!
What are you grateful for today? Let me know in the comments.

I appreciate the fact that you added in your list things we usually tend to forget. Being able to have access to medical care for instance is something we take as granded. Your list worked as a good reminder for me also. Thank you for sharing!

I tired my best to think of some thing we wouldn’t normally be thankful for. Thanks for reading!

Happy Birthday! I hope that you had a great day and celebrated all the great things that make you, you! There are so many reasons for us to be grateful in this life, more than a lot of people realize. I think a gratitude list is an activity that everyone should do from time to time – and keep the list somewhere close at hand so that you can read it when you’re faced with a hard time.
Seriah Sargenton says
Thank you Britt, I agree that practicing gratitude is so important and that on days like this, we truly need to recognize everything we have to be grateful for, including the things we don’t always say thank you for.
