100 Things I Am Grateful For This Thanksgiving

Gratitude is the key to a happy Thanksgiving! So, join me in reflecting on the year’s blessings with my list of 100 things to be thankful for.

Gratitude is the key to a happy Thanksgiving! So join me in reflecting on the year's blessings with my list of 100 things to be thankful for.

I have a lot to be grateful for this year. The last two years have been an emotional roller coaster for me. I graduated with my Master’s Degree, started a new job, relaunched the blog, and learned how to better care for myself. I don’t want to dive too deep into how the pandemic affected me, but let’s say it had its ups and downs.

Tomorrow, as we celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to encourage you to consider everything you have to be grateful for this year. It can be as small as breathing in a fresh cup of coffee daily before work. Although most people won’t celebrate this holiday due to the adverse history, many families do.

So, for those of you who are celebrating Thanksgiving, I encourage you to take time to be thankful and to practice gratitude after the long two years we’ve all had. I know I am, so I’m sharing this list of everything I am grateful for this year (which comes directly from my bullet journal!)

  1. OMG! I love this. I definitely want to create a similar post. A gratitude list like this shows us how fortunate we all actually are in many ways to have so much to be grateful for. Great post!

  2. Which PlayStation are you grateful for? PS 1-3 would be my choice. PS4 was uninspiring and I’m not even going to bother with the PS5. I’m grateful for my neurologist who referred me to the specialist that lead to getting four diagnoses

    1. Hello,

I’m grateful for all of them. I was fortunate enough to be able to play all of them growing up. Right now, I have the PS4, and I want the PS5 only for virtual reality games. I’m glad you were able to find a good neurologist! That is a great thing to be thankful for.

  3. great list! and I like the idea. I didn’t actually closely read your list because I want to challenge myself with writing 100 things I am grateful for. I often practice gratitude in various ways (like 8 things I am grateful for today every day of the week without any repetitions, gratitude journal and last but not least leaving a grateful review to any place I visited and like) but it has never been that grand.

  4. My husband and I were talking on Thanksgiving about Christmas gifts and what to get our friends and family. He mentioned things people need and I stopped to realize I don’t actually need anything. I have everything I need already, and that is something I am extremely grateful for. To not have any immediate needs that I cannot take care of myself. This was a really deep moment for me, because it hasn’t always been that way, but I’m beyond grateful it is now.

    1. Erica,

Thanks for sharing this with me. Sometimes I feel like we take the world for granted until we sit and start thinking about it. There is not much that I need either and so I am also grateful for that. I hope you and your husband had a lovely Thanksgiving.
