Therabox Subscription

Ever since being gifted the Slumber Box, I have loved this company. Therabox is a self-care subscription box company that helps you prioritize your needs. These boxes have everything a girl can dream of when practicing self-care: serums, journals, face masks, lotions, and more. It’s the perfect subscription service gift for a mom who needs more self-care or as a treat to someone you love.

Therapists curate each TheraBox, which includes a happiness-boosting activity inspired by neuroscience and positive psychology research. In addition, each box contains 6-8 full-sized self-care goodies valued at over $120 for the mind, body, and soul.

Streaming Service Subscription

I might be speaking for myself, but I’m sure most people do not watch cable anymore. However, if you know a TV fanatic or a favorite production company, gifting them a streaming service is not a bad idea. Below are a few popular ones to consider.

Kindle Unlimited

If you’re shopping for a bookworm, I highly recommend buying a subscription to Kindle Unlimited. Amazon’s Kindle library contains thousands of great eBooks, textbooks, and online resources that would make any book lover swoon.

Gaming Membership

One of the coolest things about buying things for someone who likes gaming is that you can easily add extra items to their subscription gift if you want to. Depending on their interests, you can buy apparel like t-shirts and hobbies with the game logo or some of the characters, in-game items, or figures! Funko Pop has a massive range of options, including all the best series like LoTR, CoD, Harry Potter, and plenty of comic book baddies and heroes; plus, you can check the Funko Pokemon List and snag a cool niche one for their desk.

If you read my tech gift guide, many people want to get their hands on the latest PS5 and Xbox consoles this holiday season. Unfortunately, most stores have sold out of these products or started inflating the prices due to the high demand for the product. However, this doesn’t mean you cannot still get that excellent gaming gift

If the person you’re shopping for has a PlayStation, they will love for anyone to buy them a one-year subscription to PlayStation Plus, PlayStation Now, or both. PlayStation Plus is required for online and multiplayer gaming. This subscription is best for people who enjoy playing games like Call of Duty, Modern Warfare, or games that have multiplayer options.

PlayStation Now is a subscription-based service that lets you access thousands of PS2, PS3, and older PS4 games from one system. It’s Netflix but for video games.

It would be best to consider the Xbox game pass for people who prefer to play the Xbox. This game pass allows players on Xbox consoles to access over 100 high-quality games and includes EA play and the benefits of the live gold. With this subscription, you can also use it for PC and mobile, which is excellent for Halo and Mortal Shell games

Digital Gift Cards

If you’re struggling to find the perfect digital gift for someone this Christmas, you can give them a digital gift card to their favorite store or eatery. Digital gift cards are great because they’re easy to buy and quickly delivered through text or email. In addition, most major retailers sell digital gift cards at your convenience.

Ride Share Gift Cards

If someone you love works throughout the holidays, a rideshare gift card is an excellent way of showing appreciation this holiday season. Both Uber and Lyft offer gift cards that can be delivered instantly to someone’s email address, making it easier for you to say Merry Christmas without all the hassle. In addition, neither company requires you to create an account to buy gift cards.

Where To Find Other Gift Ideas

I hope you enjoyed my list of digital gift ideas and subscription service gift ideas. The pandemic taught me that the best kind of gifts are the ones that are well thought out and practical. But, sometimes, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s materialistic. Sometimes, people forget that gift cards and services save time, money, and space and can be an excellent gift for minimalistic or decluttering homes

I love digital gifts because they show that the person understands my style, hobbies, and thought process. It also means that they took the time to consider how I might feel about adding more materialistic items to my home. As always, I’d encourage you to check out Pinterest for other excellent gift guides or my other Christmas gift guides.

The Masterclass subscription service is extremely popular and sought after. You probably have seen their commercials on TV. I hope these gift ideas help to trigger a few thoughts.

  2. I very highly recommend subscription services as gifts. As someone who probably pays way more than necessary on subscriptions (like Spotify, watching services, gaming, and Headspace) I definitely find them to be a great alternative to the “typical” gift in a box! Great ideas here!

    1. Erika,

I think the Masterclass subscription is great. It depends on the topic and whose teaching the course though. I’d still recommend doing research ahead of time.
