Get inspired for the new year with my 4 big health goals for 2022. From fitness to nutrition, these goals will motivate you to prioritize your health.

It’s time to start thinking about goals for the new year. I made several goals for last year that I did not keep. But, I plan to change that going into 2022. So, I created a 2022 vision board that visualizes my goals and hopes for the new year this year.

Today, I will share a few of my goals for the new year that I will accomplish and hold myself accountable for. These goals are personalized based on my wants and needs and my overall well-being. However, if you’re interested in creating a similar list, then go for it!

My Goals For The New Year

To Drink A Gallon Of Water Daily

Don’t get me wrong. I drink a ton of water. But, sometimes I feel like I’m not drinking enough water. As a result, I suffer from lots of acne, and my dermatologist told me that I needed to hydrate more. So, they can know that I am drinking enough for health purposes but not enough to get rid of acne problems. So, my goal for the new year is to drink a gallon of water daily consistently.

There will be days when I might feel depressed or crave more than a glass of water. So, that’s why I bought this gorgeous glass water bottle with a tracker on it, to help me stay hydrated throughout the day and serve as a timer for when I should be drinking water.

To Workout Consistently At Least 3x

You know that I am early into my at-home workout fitness journey if you’ve been following me. I bought a massive machine with everything I needed to get the same fitness level from going to the gym. In 2022, I want to create a new fitness plan that balances my blogging, work, family, and social life with working out.

I’ve been researching fitness plans and talking to my boyfriend about this, and I think I found one that works best for me. So we’ll see in 2022.

To Travel To At Least One International Country

If there is one thing I learned in 2021, I need to start traveling more. One of my goals for the new year is to travel to at least one international country. I think I want to go to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, or The United Kingdom. I’m not sure which one I will choose, but I have been researching and learning about each country’s different cultures, languages, and facts.

(p.s. I am open to suggestions).

To Add More Fruits and Veggies Into My Meals

In 2022, I’ll make sure to swap out the Oreos for fruit and veggies. I have a huge sweet tooth, and sometimes I indulge too much in junk food when I’m too emotional, stressed, or even in a good mood. It’s also my comfort food for when I’m going through my monthly menstruation. Eating healthier has always been one of the most important goals for the new year, and each year I am getting a bit better.

In 2022, I will limit my cookie intake to once a month and restrict myself from drinking carbonated sodas and juices. Instead, I plan to make a ton of smoothies with my favorite foods. That way, I’m still indulging in my habit of snacking without sacrificing my health. I’m also considering going on a healthy diet to help me stay on track for this goal.

  1. I’d recommend the UK, but I’d probably wait until our country starts acting like adults and starts to manage the pandemic appropriately. Much like the US, we’ve done a pretty terrible job of keeping people safe during the pandemic

    1. Hi,

Yea, same. I wouldn’t recommend anyone come to America with the way things are. But the UK is on my bucket list.

  2. Oh my gosh I need to drink more water! I got so good at that for a while, but the last several months not so much. I should definitely add more fruits and veggies to my diet as well.

    1. Cassie,

Drinking one gallon of water a day is harder than it sounds. I thought I was going a pretty good job, but apparently, I am not doing a great job. I’ve been getting better at adding fruits and veggies into my diet.
