February 2022 Monthly Blog Review

Hi, friends and secret friends who read my blog (I see you). So, we’ve made it another month, which means it’s time for another monthly blog review.

Last month, I talked about my struggles with depression and anxiety. I opened up about some things happening and how I planned to change that this month. For example, I implemented a daily morning yoga and self-care routine before work and started writing in my diary every night before bed.

It may not seem like a lot, but it is. In January, I barely found the physical or mental strength to care for myself. So I’d say this is a considerable improvement from last month. Of course, I’m still working on easing my way into a self-care routine that sticks through the tough times, but I’m happy to have made some progress.

I experienced a slight dip in blog stats, but that happens when you take time off for yourself. So, let’s look at this month’s monthly blog review.

February 2022 Monthly Blog Review

While my mental state has improved, I’m experiencing nothing regarding the blog. It’s pretty stagnant for the most part, except for my dip in views. Honestly, I don’t know what to make of this. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Should I be worried? I mean, it’s not like it’s serious, but I do wonder why I’m not going up anymore.

Celebrating Monthly Wins

I want to start a new segment of my monthly blog review posts where I share my wins for the month, no matter how big or small. Celebrating small successes helps your brain feel accomplishment and pride in its work. It also makes you feel good and motivates you to keep going through life’s daily challenges.

Here are some of my small wins for February

  • Officially start training for life-coach certification.
  • I’ve been consistent with daily reflection and yoga the entire month
  • I didn’t experience a mental health breakdown
  • I received new sponsorship and paid opportunities on the blog
  • I found a self-care routine that works for me.

What To Expect In March

March is Women’s History Month, and to commemorate, I am dedicating the month to all things female, primarily health and wellness. While many articles surround the overall topic of women’s health, I still feel a sense of responsibility to contribute to this information and better information to the next generation of women on how to care for themselves.

I have posted about menstruation, general women’s health, affirmation, and more scheduled for the next month. You can also see my social media activity reflects these topics.

I’ll also try out some new formats on the blog for speed purposes, so please let me know if anything does not load correctly.

Did you achieve your monthly goals? Let me know in the comments.
