Hello Friends! Since the month ends next week, can I talk about the holidays now in this monthly blog review? October was a busy month for me. I started a new posting schedule for the holiday season, started a new Instagram live series, and wrote Christmas and holiday gift guides.
I cannot complain about this month. I was reasonably successful this month in sales and affiliate marketing and was close to hitting all my blogging goals. However, before discussing some of these significant wins in this monthly blog review, let’s review some blog stats.

October Monthly Blog Review
October was a decent month for me. I started journaling a lot more and taking more time off, which feels great. I spent most of this month preparing for the holiday season and contacting small businesses and brands about collaborating for Christmas.

Blog Review
This month, I participated in many online Twitter and Facebook groups, which increased page views. I also revamped a few posts and started posting more frequently, which worked.

Sales Review
This month I barely reached my Etsy or blog shop goals. As mentioned, I took time off to care for myself, resulting in a dip in sales. Since I ran out of scents, I also had to take down all my candle products, but I plan to sell new perfumes soon! On the blog, I sold nothing, which surprised me since I ran a sale all of September.
Most Sold Product
My most sold Etsy product for October was the Funny Dad Body Coffee Mug. I’m pretty surprised, considering Father’s Day has long passed. However, this means people start shopping early for Christmas to beat the holiday rush.
I also sold a copy of my floral planner bundle this month from the blog shop.
Major Wins
My biggest win this month is that I hit a new selling milestone on Etsy at $350. That’s amazing. I am so thankful and happy to the customers who love my products and return to shop with me. I also increased my page views by almost 2K by being more active within the community and engaging with other bloggers.
November Blogging Theme
November starts the official holiday countdown. My content will center on the holiday season, Thanksgiving, or Christmas gift guides. I also have some promotional content planned throughout the month and personal stories to share. I’m also going to be doing some more fall and winter-themed content.
My November Goals
- Make more than $350 in sales total on Etsy
- Make $50 in blog shop sales
- Hit 4K blog page views
- Make sales in affiliate marketing
- Get advertisers for December
