2021 November Monthly Blog Review

Here is how Riyah Speaks performed in November! Read the monthly blog review here.

Time for another monthly blog review, and I’m excited about this one. Since it’s the end of November, does that mean it’s time to start putting up the Christmas tree and bringing out the holiday jams? Thanksgiving was excellent, and I love to practice gratitude, but I always look forward to the holiday season.

In this monthly blog review, I will talk about the launch of my newest ebook, my first sale on it, and the techniques I used to increase my social media presence.

November Monthly Blog Review

November was a great month on the blog. My overall social media presence increased, more people subscribed to my email list, and I made my first sale on my newest workbook. Not much has changed in terms of blog views and comments, but I can say that I am optimistic that it will change with December coming up.

Blog Review

This month, I increased the frequency of my posts due to the demand for gift guides and holiday content. I successfully published my first set throughout the month and made a few affiliate sales through my guides.

Sales Review

I didn’t make as much as I’d hoped this month on my Etsy, plus I got a refund, which sucked. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a newer shop, but I struggled with Etsy sales and production. On the upside, I did make my first sale for my newest workbook, The Depression Management Workbook.

Major Wins

Despite the sales setback on Etsy, I had plenty of significant wins this month. For starters, I launched a new workbook and have already made a sale on it. The Depression Management Workbook guides coping with depression and anxiety and learning to manage mental health symptoms better.

I also increased my social media presence, particularly on Instagram. I’ve been dabbling in IGTV through my new wellness series and using Instagram reels to promote and educate the community. Again, it worked out in my favor.

I’ve also increased my engagement and interaction with people who show up on the least interacted with a section of my followers’ area. Finally, I’ve been using all the latest features in positing and scheduling content and ensuring I stay more relevant in the health and wellness niche.

December Blogging Theme

In December, I am participating in blogmas. For those unfamiliar with it, you post every day from December 1st to December 25th. I’ve got tons of holiday gift guides, posts, and content planned for the entire month until Christmas. I’ve also added some health and wellness winter posts.

I cannot wait for you guys to see what I have planned!
