Time for another monthly blog review! It’s finally the end of September, and I’m so excited. While I may not be a fall baby, there is so much I love about this season, including Halloween. I’ve been anxiously waiting for September to end so that I can start decorating for Halloween.
I have many surprises planned for October, including an Instagram giveaway, which I will discuss later in this monthly blog review. This month I focused on fall-related things and ways to prepare for the Fall through self-care and wellness. Before diving deep into how this month went, let’s review how I performed in this monthly blog review.

This month was prolonged, and the traffic dipped. But I believe the traffic will increase once the holiday season begins. I’m already prepared for the holiday season and look forward to showing you guys what I’ve been working on when the time comes.

Blog Review
I didn’t focus on promotion this month because I wanted to take more time off. This resulted in a massive dip in blog views, sales, and engagement, but I’m not upset. I needed to take some time away from blogging to get my life together and make myself feel good again.

Sales Review
This month I barely reached my Etsy or blog shop goals. As mentioned, I took time off to care for myself, resulting in a dip in sales. Since I ran out of scents, I also had to take down all my candle products, but I plan to sell new candles soon! On the blog, I sold nothing, which surprised me since I ran a sale all of September.
Most Sold Product
My most sold Etsy product for September was the Trick Or Treated Halloween-themed long-sleeve shirt. Halloween is trending since it’s the next major holiday celebrated in the U.S. Hence, it is no surprise that this shirt would be a hit.
Major Wins
Although everything dropped this month, I finally took some time off, which I celebrate as a significant win. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed with my new job and blogging that I forget to care for myself. Some other considerable successes include finalizing my giveaway and gathering its prizes, which I think you will love.
About The October Giveaway
Mental Health Awareness Week is quickly approaching, and I wanted to find a way to encourage you to take the steps needed to live a happier and healthier lifestyle.

I spoke about the giveaway briefly in my previous email. Still, I’m running a special self-care giveaway on Instagram inspired by the self-care challenge freebie in October for those who did not receive it. To be entered into the giveaway, you must complete the following:

October Blogging Theme
October is going to be one insane month. During the first week, I will focus on Mental Health Awareness Week. Then a mix of Halloween and Fall content focusing on self-care, health, and wellness is planned for the remainder of October. Finally, since the holiday season is quickly approaching, I will publish 3x a week until the end of February.
My October Goals
- Make more than $300 in sales total
- Hit 4K blog traffic
- Make sales in affiliate marketing
- Get advertisers for November
